the next five numbers are the production number of the piece for the year ..(example) .. I want to buy another body of the same,or repair the one that is damaged.would it be possible to I. if so here it is #8914490 If it is any help the guitar design is similar to that of the "fender strat" with the exception of a much sharper lower & upper horn. I know it's a long shot but I have been wanting to do this for what seems like "an eternity".

So anything you can tell me will be helpful in resolving this dilemma.thanks again for taking the time to read this letter.sincerely "[email protected]" : Ihave an Ibanez probably not of pro design...

Well gang here it is the ultimate list on serial numbers from today to yesterday.I is Idda Gakki they made some AR300 models in the mid 1980's after Fuji stopped making set necks.H is the funniest H7 is Terrada a comapy in Nagoya Japan that makes mostly Gretsch guitars, This was a disaster and they made H7 for 3 years on the serial numbers, H must have ment for Hoshino.Captain Ibanez Captain: Thanks VERY much for this info. In the Japanese built, 1984 to 1996 section, how would you distinquish an '84, '85 or '86 from a '94, '95 or '96 if only the last digit of the year is used. The example number looks like there would only be valid numbers from E0 (1990) thru E9 (1999). Thanks once again for the great job you've done.Or does it work that F4 = '84 and F94 = '94. John, the 84 85 etc models etc where actually still the same system from prior to 1984, I strongly beleive that the newer serial number sytem did not take full effect until 1990 but that between you and me.
